There was a time when I thought I’d never run again. In 2014, I was hit by a car while out on a run, leaving me with a traumatic brain injury, two strokes, and injuries that changed my life forever. Then, years later, I lost my dad to bone marrow cancer. The man who was my steady voice, my biggest supporter, and the calm in every storm was suddenly gone. Those two moments could have defined my life—but instead, they gave it a new purpose.

Today, every mile I run is for something greater than myself. I’m on a journey to earn all six Abbott World Marathon Majors stars while raising awareness and support for causes that are deeply personal to me. Tokyo honors my dad and his battle with bone marrow cancer. London supports Brain Research UK, a cause that also holds special meaning because of my own journey after my brain injury. Every race reminds me that even in life’s hardest moments, hope can still move us forward.

I never wanted this mission to be about simply asking people for money. I wanted to earn their support. That’s why I donate my time through cleaning, organizing, and landscaping services. When someone books a service or makes a donation, they’re not just helping me cross another finish line—they’re becoming part of this journey. Together, we’re proving that hard work, compassion, and perseverance can change lives, one mile and one act of kindness at a time.
